About Us
In 2007, Michèle Côté and Audrée Michaud met at the École de joaillerie de Montréal; Michèle worked there as a professor and Audrée was a student finishing her training. Michèle was immediately struck by her student's talent and her determination to make her mark in the field of jewelry. The professor, to her student's great delight, made her a golden proposition: to found a company that would combine Michèle's great expertise and Audrée's great entrepreneurial qualities.
Determined and passionate, they redoubled their efforts to realize their vision and together created Flamme en rose. This was the birth of a unique company in the field of Montreal jewelry manufacturing; a workshop-boutique managed by two women (a first in this traditionally male world), specializing in high-end custom design and with customer satisfaction as its primary motivation. The opening of the boutique was celebrated in 2009 and it was the beginning of a great adventure.
From the outset, the jewelers have focused on designing high-end jewelry; Flamme en rose offers a unique service of custom design, production from A to Z, and takes up the bold challenge of making its customers' dream jewelry a reality. Flamme en rose's motto is to combine the creativity and uniqueness of handmade jewelry with the refinement and quality found in high-end creations. A winning union!
Well aware of current issues, the Flamme en rose team understands the importance of reducing the ecological footprint and decides to offer its customers a jewelry recycling and transformation service. The idea is quite simple: recover the jewels that are sleeping in jewelry boxes and give them a second life, a stylistic update. These jewels already have sentimental value; why not transform them to give them a current look by reducing the use of raw materials as much as possible?
The jewelers at Flamme en rose work with precious stones and noble metals but know that the company's true wealth is its customers! The team is proud to be able to guarantee you a unique experience, a warm welcome and an authentic approach. By visiting Flamme en rose, the customer avoids intermediaries and shops directly at the workshop which is located in the nerve center of jewelry in Quebec. This direct contact with the designers assures you uncompromising quality for a fair price.
Michele Côté
Michèle Côté, a master jeweler with over 23 years of experience, has specialized in the manufacture of high-end jewelry for over 20 years. Originally from the Lac Saint-Jean region and a graduate of the École de joaillerie de Montréal, she subsequently worked there for several years as a teacher. She therefore has an incomparable mastery of the techniques of creating, transforming and repairing jewelry.

Audree Michaud
Jeweler Audrée Michaud has been working in the jewelry field for 14 years. Interested in jewelry making since her teenage years, she completed her training at the École de joaillerie de Montréal in 2007 with a special mention for her great creativity. The institution immediately hired her as a professor's assistant; this experience allowed her to perfect her acquired knowledge and sharpen her reflexes when solving problems.
Since Flamme en rose was founded in 2009, Audrée has devoted more time to the company's development projects, a natural transition that draws on her great entrepreneurial and communication skills. Audrée is therefore in charge of developing innovative projects and making them a reality (management, digital media, accounting, marketing). Curious, she is constantly looking for new ideas, products and techniques that ensure that Flamme en rose remains a trendy company that is on the lookout for trends.
Angela Marzinotto
A graduate of the Creative Arts program at Dawson College and the Montreal School of Jewelry, Angela or Angie is a true artist at heart. Passionate about contemporary art, she volunteers at many events in the city. Her jewelry creations are tinged with it and have been exhibited in Taiwan, Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. After her studies, she became head of technicians and assistant teachers at the Montreal School of Jewelry, where she worked for 10 years.
Angie is a long-time accomplice of the two founders of Flamme en rose and she agreed, in March 2018, to become their project manager. She complements the work of Michèle as well as that of Audrée and her ease with the public and her joie de vivre make her very popular with customers and her colleagues.
Valerie Gougeon
Valérie's passion for jewelry is not new. From a very young age, she loved exploring her mother's and grandmother's jewelry boxes and making up stories about the treasures she found there. First a graduate in visual arts, she literally fell in love with the blowtorch during a jewelry course at the Saidye Bronfman Training Center. She then completed her training at the Montreal Jewelry School where Michèle, co-founder of Flamme en rose, taught her.
Before joining the Flamme en rose team in 2021 as a customer experience and social media specialist, Valérie was assistant to designer Jean-Claude Poitras, Acredo ambassador and wedding specialist at Birks (Bridal). Always generous and attentive, Valérie has all the qualities required to guide people in their choice and find exactly what they are looking for.
Isabelle Rousseau
Originally from Gosselies in Belgium, Isabelle emigrated to Quebec at the age of 8. Her great sensitivity to the beauty of nature first led her to study ecology, but she quickly branched off into the visual arts, looking for a more creative and manual profession. During her studies at the Montreal School of Jewelry in the late 1980s, she developed a particular interest in wax sculpture and enamel on copper.
With nearly 35 years of experience, Isabelle can do a little bit of everything in a jewelry workshop. Rather discreet by nature, we have discovered since she joined the Flamme en rose team in 2019 as a jeweler, that she is a very talented painter.
Kostiantyn Logkyi
Originally from Kharkiv in Ukraine, Kostiantyn or Kosta joined the Flamme en rose team as a master jeweler in June 2018. When he was young, he and his brother were passionate about building scale models and he transposed this passion for meticulous work into the making of high-end jewelry.
A civil engineer by training but unable to find work in his field in a country undergoing major changes, Kosta learned the jeweler's trade from his brother and accumulated over 15 years of experience in Ukraine before immigrating to Canada in 2012. Recently arrived with his family, he completed his training at the École des métiers du Sud-Ouest in Montreal. Since then, he has built an excellent reputation in the Montreal jewelry industry thanks to the quality and precision of his work.
Combining mastery of ancient and modern jewelry making techniques, Kosta stands out for his ability to precisely reproduce the desired jewelry. His charming personality makes him an amazing work colleague.
Francois Beaumier
A native of Montreal, François has been directing and editing documentary, corporate and artistic productions since completing his studies in media production in Vancouver in 1997. François also has several years of experience in advertising as a multimedia specialist for clients such as L'Oréal, Ford, Molson, Rona and Danone.
He has been working with Flamme en rose since its founding in 2009 and has put his touch on several projects as a digital content creator, graphic designer and copywriter. The poetry on the website is him! He officially joined the Flamme en rose team in May 2019 as advertising director and brand image manager. Known for his wisdom, the company has since made him its official therapist.
Hagop Arabatlian
Hailing from Aleppo, Syria, Hagop is a seasoned jeweler with over 25 years of experience under his belt. Starting at the age of 13, he would trade his summers for the hustle and bustle of his cousin’s master jeweler’s jewelry workshop. What started as a summer job quickly turned into a passion, and by the time he graduated, Hagop had become a pillar of the family business.
But life has not spared him. Fleeing the horrors of war, Hagop and his wife settled in Montreal in 2015, after spending two years in Lebanon. Determined to continue to shine in his art, he worked in various workshops in the city, constantly refining his manufacturing and repair techniques.
In November 2023, Hagop joined the talented Flamme en rose team. Resourceful and perfectionist, he loves to take on crafting challenges with ingenuity. But be careful, this jeweler is not only an outstanding craftsman! He is also a drummer in a rock band and a formidable soccer player.
