Audrée Michaud

With an honorable mention for creativity, Audrée Michaud completed her training at l’École de joaillerie de Montréal in 2007. The institution recognised her talents and immediately hired her after graduation as a teacher’s assistant. This allowed Audrée to further her hands-on experience and refine her problem solving skills.

Since the opening of Flamme en rose in 2009, Audrée has gradually reduced her hours at the jeweller’s bench to focus more on the development aspect of the company. Thanks to her great communication skills and her determination to offer the best customer service possible, the role of a jeweller to that of an entrepreneur was, for her, a natural transition.

Audrée is therefore responsible for the development of innovative projects and their implementation (management, digital media, accounting and marketing). Curious, she is constantly on the lookout for new ideas, products and techniques that make Flamme en rose an avant-garde and a trend-conscious company.

Angela Marzinotto

A graduate of the Creative Arts program at Dawson College and L’École de joaillerie de Montreal (the Montreal School of Jewellery), Angela aka Angie is a true artist at heart. Her passion for contemporary art is reflected in her jewellery creations that have been exhibited in Taiwan, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, just to name a few. After graduating from the silversmith program, she was immediately hired by the jewellery school, where she worked as the head technician and teacher’s assistant for the next 10 years.

Angie is a long-time accomplice of the two founders of Flamme en rose and she accepted, in March 2018, to become their project manager. Well-rounded and multitasker she complements Michèle's work as well as Audrey’s. Good friends and old colleges she now completes the powerful duo.

Kostiantyn Logkyi

Originally from Kharkiv, Ukraine, Kostiantyn or Kosta joined the Flamme en Rose team as their head jeweller in June 2018. As a child his brother and him loved to build miniature models and this innate talent is now reflected in que quality of his meticulous work.

Civil engineer by training, although unable to find work in a country full of changes, Kosta apprenticed with his brother as a jeweller and accumulated more than 15 years of experience in Ukraine before immigrating to Canada in 2012 . Newly arrived with his family, he perfected his training at L’École des métiers du Sud-Ouest de Montréal. Since then, he has earned an excellent reputation in the jewellery industry in Montreal thanks to the quality and precision of his work.

Combining mastery of ancient and modern jewelry making techniques, Kosta distinguishes itself by its ability to accurately reproduce the desired jewelry. His charming personality makes him a great work colleague.

Pierre Juliano

His reputation in the jewellery industry is very well established. Pierre is truly one of the best polishers in Montreal and Flamme en rose is very honored to have him by their side since 2016. At the age of 15, Pierre started working in a lamp fabrication workshop, one day the owner asked him to polish some metal pieces and Pierre instantly fell in love with the profession. This was the beginning of a beautiful career that began in 1976.

Pierre practiced his craft all over Montreal before landing at Birks where he worked for 18 years. With his experience and knowledge, he is an invaluable resource for his co-workers. All of Flamme's creations in pink pass through his hands and he is always impressed by the quality and variety of the jewels. Spontaneous and good-natured, Pierre is an endearing work colleague.

François Beaumier

A native of Montreal, François has been producing and editing documentaries, corporate and artistic productions since he graduated media production in Vancouver in 1997. François is a copywriter and image creator and has several years of experience in advertising.

He has collaborated with Flamme en rose since his founding in 2009 and has worked on several projects as a video director, editor and graphic designer. Poetry on the website, it's him! He officially joined the Flamme en Rose team in May 2019 as an advertising designer. Recognized for its wisdom, the company has since made its official therapist.

OUR HISTORY

In 2007, Michèle Côté and Audrée Michaud meet at the Montreal Jewelery School; Michèle works there as a teacher and Audrée is a student and finishes her training. Michèle is immediately struck by the talent of her student and by her determination to make her mark in the field of jewelery. The teacher, to the delight of her pupil, makes her a proposal in gold; to found a company where will combine the great expertise of Michèle and the great entrepreneurial qualities of Audrée.

Determined and passionate, they combined their efforts and created Flamme en rose. This was the birth of a unique company; a workshop/boutique run by two women (a first in this traditionally male dominated world), specializing in high-end custom designs, with a very high emphasis on customer satisfaction. The opening of the shop was celebrated in 2009 and was the beginning of a great adventure.

Flamme en rose has concentrated their efforts on the design and creation of high end jewellery, offering a unique tailor-made design service by making their clients' dream pieces into reality. Flamme en rose combines the creativity and uniqueness of a handcrafted piece with the refinement and perfection of high-end jewellery. A winning combination!

Well aware of current issues, the Flamme en rose team understands the importance of reducing our ecological footprint. As a result, they offer their customers jewellery-recycling and transformation services. The idea is very simple; to use existing pieces of jewellery that have most probably not been worn in years and offer them a second life, a stylistic update. We are often emotionally attached to pieces with sentimental value but they sit in a drawer and are forgotten. Why not transform them into something that could be worn and enjoyed every day! Not only do we minimize the use of raw materials, we also give a new life to something with an old soul.

The jewellers of Flamme en rose work with precious metals and stones but know that the true jewels of the company are their clients! The team is proud to guarantee a unique experience, a warm welcome and a genuine approach. By visiting Flamme en rose, the client avoids the middleman and shops directly at the workshop which is located in the heart of the Montreal jewellery district. This direct contact with the designers ensures quality without compromise, regardless of budget.
